Nicholas E. Sheets graduated from BYU in 2014 with a B.A. in Theatre Arts Studies and Spanish. During his time at BYU he dramaturged The Phantom of the Opera and Cymbeline. Acting credits include Romeo & Juliet and Godspell (a mask club). He was awarded two Mary Lou Fulton Grants for his Honors Thesis: Jorge Ibarguengoitia's Socio-Economic Commentary in Llego Margo. He attended the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas Conference in 2013, of which he is a member.

He received the 2014 Outstanding Major Award in the Spanish Department. Currently he is a Spanish M.A. candidate at the University of Kansas, specializing in Latin American Theater.
