Theressa Khaliel Kelly graduated from Brigham Young University in 2013 with a degree in Media Arts Studies. In 2013, at the student awards ceremony for the Department of Theatre and Media Arts, Tess was nominated to receive the Media Arts Outstanding Student award. At the Night at the HFAC hosted by the Laycock Center, Kelly's team won the 24 hours of creativity competition. The team included Lauren Laws, Marcus Christensen, Brock Bolen, and Ryan Siepert.
