Sara R. Shawcroft received a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Brigham Young University in Idaho in 2008. She graduated with her Master’s degree in Mass Communications at BYU in April of 2010.

In March 2010 Shawcroft, along with fellow students Austin Cameron and Holly Wallace won the top graduate student paper at the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics (APPE) Conference in Cincinnati.
