Kristen Leinbach is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts Education at Brigham Young University. She is a member of BYU's Young Company, a theatre troupe that adapts and adjusts plays to perform for young audiences. In 2013 Leinbach was in the company's production of Henry V. She was also included on the winter 2013 Dean's List, the spring 2013 Dean's List, the fall 2012 Dean's List, and the winter 2012 Dean's List. In fall of 2013 Leinbach served as dramaturg for the BYU production of The Light in the Piazza.

In 2014 Leinbach received the Most Outstanding Traditional Production in a Mask Club for "Seussical" award from the Department of Theatre and Media Arts.
