Joshua M. Cooper graduated from Brigham Young University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in acting. In 2013, he played Doctor Lombardi in BYU's production of The Servant of Two Masters.

In 2013 Josh Cooper and his partner Andrew Foree were selected as semi-finalists for the 2013 Irene Ryan award.
