Colin Alexander Hatch graduated from Brigham Young University in 2013 with a degree in Music Media Studies.

In winter 2011 Hatch won second place in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest Video Challenge with his song "Answer the Phone." Hatch won $1,000 and an electric guitar out of a pool of 240 other entries.

Along with fellow BYU alumnus, Justin Hyatt, Hatch bought and co-owns Muse Music Cafe, a popular music venue, and the adjoining recording studio in Provo, Utah. He hopes for the business to expand as a "welcoming community space," for audiences of all backgrounds.
