Bruce B. Newbold graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in Acting in 1980. He also recieved a master's of fine arts in Acting in 1985.

Newbold presents a one man scriptural oration called "In Him Was Life." The interdenominational performance seeks to make the life of Jesus Christ as told in the Four Gospels come to life for audiences.

He was featured in The Spectrum, a St. George, Utah, newspaper on 1 March 2008.
