Timothy Slover

Timothy "Tim" Slover was a member of the Theatre and Media Arts Faculty at Brigham Young University. He received his bachelor's degree in English from BYU in 1980, and received his master's and doctorate degrees in English language from the University of Michigan. Slover is currently a member of the Theatre Studies Program Faculty at the University of Utah.

Slover's works have been produced off-Broadway and in professional regional and university theatres all over the US, Canada, and UK. His writing awards include the Grand Prize at the 65th Annual Writers Digest Writers Awards, the Christopher Brian Wolk Award for Playwriting Excellence, a Cine Golden Eagle, a Freedoms Foundation George Washington Honor Medal, and a Hopwood Award for Best Play. He was a finalist for a Television Arts and Sciences Community Service Emmy.

His plays have been published by Samuel French, Inc., Encore Performance Publishing, Signature Books, and Silverleaf Press. His writing has also appeared in the National Biography of American Theatre and Sunstone Magazine.
