Nell Gotkovsky

Nell Gotkovsky was a professor in the School of Music at Brigham Young University.

She has soloed with most of the major orchestras and with such conductors as Klemperer, Giulini, Boult, Sargent, Answermet, Schmidt-Isserstedt, Sanderling, Sawallish, Dorati, Masur, Inbal and Dutoit. In 1984 she was awarded the title Chevalier des Arts et Lettres by the French government. Her recording of the Shostakovich and Bartok violin concertos of Pyramid Records has enjoyed worldwide success.
