Joshua Mora is majoring in Dance at Brigham Young University. In 2011 Mora choreographed pieces for dancEnsemble as part of the Heloise Crista Project, funded by the Laycock Center for Creative Collaboration in the Arts. Heloise Crista is a former dancer who switched to sculpting part-way through her life.
In 2013, he participated in the Buckaroo: Cowboy Poetry in Motion Project, which was funded by a grant from the Laycock Center for Creative Collaboration in the Arts. The project brought together student musicians, poets, and choreographers, as well as professional cowboy poets, to produce an evening-length themed dance concert. For the program, Mora choreographed "My Buddy and Me" with fellow student Mindy Michaels.
Mora also choreographs the colorguard of the Orem High School marching band and dances on a team in Riverton, Utah.
In 2014, Mora performed in Inner Child, a dance film produced under the direction of Assistant Professor of Dance, Karen D. Jensen, and funded by the Laycock Center for Creative Collaboration in the Arts.
