Joshua Fronk graduated from Brigham Young University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in illustration.

Fronk has worked for BYU Independent Study as an illustrator. He has also done graphic design for Layers Clothing, Inc and the Division of Design and Production at BYU where he has designed over 100 promotional posters during the course of two years.

In 2008, Fronk was awarded an Oscarson Discovery Grant, which financed his move to New York City, where he interned with Sam Weber, a professional illustrator.

In 2009, Joshua received a illustration scholarship from the George and Geraldine Swensen Watkins Endowment for Excellence in the Arts.
