Jennifer L. Borget

Jennifer L. Borget graduated from Brigham Young University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. During her time at BYU, Borget participated in several competitions and was repeatedly recognized as a leading student in her field. She was selected by the Communications Department faculty to speak at the April 2008 convocation.

Borget was awarded the 2006 National Mark of Excellence Award from the Society of Professional Journalists for the newscasts she, along with fellow students Marco A. Villarreal and Britney E. Holman, had created for KBYU-FM.

Also in 2006, she was awarded a $20,000 scholarship from the National Association of Broadcasters Education Fund.

In 2007, Borget was awarded to prestigious Ed Bradley Scholarship from The Radio and Television News Directors Foundation.

In April 2008, Borget was recognized by the Broadcast Education Association. She, along with classmates Marco A. Villarreal and McKay Allen were recognized as the top student news anchors.
