Erin Meads graduated from Brigham Young University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in illustration.

Erin received an Oscarson Discovery Grant which she used to display artwork in Bountiful/Davis Art Center's Face to Face Exhibit, October 2009. The paintings were also entered into RayMar Art's 4th Annual Fine Art contest where "Beach Lily" was judged as a finalist in the month of September. She was featured on Informed Collector shortly afterward.

Erin attended Dixie State College of Utah before her three years at BYU. There she learned the basic fundamentals of drawing from Del Parson. At BYU she enjoyed drawing with Robert T. Barrett and plein air painting with Richard D. Hull. She also studied as an apprentice for William Whitaker at his home studio in Provo for two years during her studies at BYU. In April 2010, Erin presented her final BFA show in the B.F. Larsen Gallery.

Erin and her husband moved to Maryland after graduation in 2010. She attends open drawing and painting sessions at the Zoll Studio of Fine Art in Timonium, MD and is also enrolled in classes at the Art League of Alexandria where she studies with Robert Liberace.
