Eric Carr Sackett graduated from Brigham Young University in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in public relations with a minor in music.

Eric has been in a number of plays, including some shown at the Covey Center for the Arts, Hale Center Theater Orem, Pickleville Playhouse, and BYU. He was also a member of BYU's popular men's a cappella group, Vocal Point, in 2008. After a year in Vocal Point he left to serve a mission for the LDS Church in Washington, DC, and upon his return became a member of BYU's Young Ambassadors.

In 2012 Sackett played the parts of Jinx and Happy T. Dawson in Pickleville Playhouse's production of The Hanging of El Bandito shown at Bear Lake. The same year, he interned with Goodman Media International in New York, and received an Oscarson Discovery Grant to subsidize the opportunity.
