Emily Robison

Emily Renae Lawlor Robison graduated from Brigham Young University in 2014 with a master's degree in music composition.

In 2012, Robison received the Barlow Student Composition Award, a cash award and a commission to write a score for one of BYU's large ensembles. Robison's score was written for BYU's Wind Symphony and performed in 2013. In 2014, Robison won first place in the 2014 Vera Hinckley Mayhew Music Composition Contest. Her cash award winning piece was entitled Lonely American Shadows.
