Bruce B. Newbold

Bruce B. Newbold graduated from Brigham Young University in 1980 with a bachelor's degree in acting. In 1985, he also received a master's of fine arts in acting. He is an actor and writer for film, television, and stage.

Newbold has been a professional actor for many years. He had been in such television shows as Hill Street Blues, Touched By and Angel, Highway to Heaven, Promise Land, and General Hospital, among others. He is well known among LDS audiences for his work in the films, The Restoration of the Priesthood, How Rare a Possession: The Book of Mormon, The Lamb of God and The Testaments. His one-man dramatization of the life of Christ, In Him Was Life, has been performed throughout the US and England. His book, entitled In Our Father's Footsteps, was published in 1998.

He is married to Lisa Lindsay Newbold and they have five children.
